i never experienced this with my first 2 pregnancies but today i've had a horrible stabbing pain in my groin - USUALLY when i'm moving around ... not to mention all the aches and pains going on ... i'll be 39 weeks tomorrow (and have an appt)... the baby isn't engaged (i still feel him flipping around)
anyone else experience this?
should i put a call in or can it probably just wait until tomorrow?

Hmm, I'd say probably normal since you're so far along. I've definitely felt a lot of weight in that area...just ask your doc tomorrow, unless it makes you immobile. And, honestly, it seems to me every pregnancy is different (for example I think they only get harder lol)
I was told by my dr that the pelvic bone and pubic bone are kinda shaped like >< in the front and when the baby lowers the bones start to separate or shift apart like this > < . LIKE MY VISUAL AIDS??? Anyway he said that is what causes the stabbing pain that seems to center right on the "mound" in front.
He said take some Tylenol and try to sit sort of reclined to relieve the pressure on that area.
I know it sucks. I am almost 36 weeks now and have been having that for a couple weeks.
