At what appointment do they usually do the group b strep test? I have my 34 week appointment to day, and I need to find out if they'll be doing it or not so I can shave my legs in advance lol.
They did one @ 30 weeks and will re test me again at 36 weeks why the two test I am not sure. But I was positive for it with my last pregnancy.

They are probably doing the 2 tests because you were positive last time.
To OP...I would shave just incase... but I think it is at 36 wks most drs will do it.
I asked when I went in yesterday, and they said they'll be doing it next week at my 35 week appointment. With my first pregnancy I had it done at 36 weeks, but I'm with a new doctor this time. I also found out he's going out of town at the end of this month, so let's hope I don't go into early labor!

Honestly, its not bad at all. Just a quick swipe with a cotton swab on the outside. I find the cervix checks much much worse!
