Gift registry the 7th time around?

I'm expecting my 7th child. This baby was completely unexpected. My youngest is 5 and believing she was the last I got rid of everything babywise.

Would it be inappropriate to make a registry?

Not at all...etiquette says 4 years later is ok to have a shower/party.  So I would go for it!

i do not think so at all! it has been FIVE years since anyone has purchased a baby gift for you. I would understand if it had only been a year, but five years is plenty of time.

especially since you do not have any baby items, i would register. people do not have to buy you a gift, but i am sure plenty of people will be happy to do so.

good luck! =)

I don't think so. If you are close with your family and friends, they must know that you got rid of all the baby things in your house. I don't see any problem with a registry. And I dont care how many babies my friends have I always buy them something. ;)
