38 Weeks and Looking Good!

It is a very comforting feeling knowing that if my boy was born today, he would be fully developed. This morning at my OB appt. I expressed a concern to her that baby hadn't moved as much as usual yesterday, so she took an ultrasound to measure fluid, breathing, and everything looked good!  In addition, we got on the fetal monitor for @20 minutes and the readings were all good there too!

I am very comfortable at this point. I've gained 15 pounds total and was able to exercise last night. My SO has come home from a long trip, and my young son understands that now that Dad's home, Xavier can come out of mom's tummy!

Zachary and I will make the drive to San Antonio from Houston this weekend to spend some long awaited time with Dad for the weekend, come back for one more week of work, then back there again to await the beginning of labor. My last day at work will be next Friday.

I sure hope you other moms out there who are nearing your due date are doing well and are as happy and comforted as possible.

Wow, you sound so busy in the very end~  I hope you can rest in there, too.   Take good care of yourself, baby could come...   anytime!

:-o

Good luck, mama!
