support underwear?

i was told by one of my 5 OB's in the group that i should go out and get support underwear, as i just had a c-section back in January, and am now 19 weeks pregnant. i am showing, but there is still a lot of extra skin on the sides of my hips and tummy. so i went out and bought these support SHORTS, with the panel in front and reaches halfway down my thighs. it is slimming, sure, but i wonder- is this bad for the baby to have something constricting like this? with the underwear/shorts on, i look sideways in the mirror, and i look 19 weeks pregnant now, not just rounded...but i still worry. anyone else doing the same thing? should i really be using these?

i'm not sure.

i recently had a c-section as well and i am 19 weeks pregnant and have never heard of support underwear while pregnant.

i am not showing as much as you, but i'm showing a little.

what is the point of that anyway, like what is it supposed to help? i have never heard of it haha.

Ive never heard of them either after a c-section, but I probably wouldn't wear them anyways..

I don't think you want any kind of blood restriction during pregnancy...
