Let's help some other mom's who might be experiecning some bad morning sickness!
How badly did you have morning sickness?
How did you cope with it?
What is your best remedy and why?
Here are some tips that I have put together for morning sickness:
Eating small meals throughout the day instead of three big ones
Have some crackers or a snack by your bed, so when you get up you can put something in your tunmmy right away
Sliced apples
Slicing lemons (the smell helps some)
Motion sickness bracelets
Ginger- anything with ginger root in it, even ginger ale
Peppermint (even try some peppermint tea)
Vitamin B6
Don't have fluids and meals together
Make sure you are drinking lots of water, you need to stay hydrated or it will make it worse
Eat things high in protein and complex carbs
Don't rush around in the mornings- that can make it worse
Stay away from stress as much as possible
Slurpees, or icees... When it gets really bad they help... and they are not hard on you coming back up.
Think about the flavor of your toothpaste and switch if it is contributing to making you nauseous
Get plenty of sleep
Avoid sugar and fatty foods
Ask your doctor about switching to a prenatal vitamin with a lower amount of iron for your 1st trimester

I had SERVERE morning sickness with my girls.
I didn't know what to do with my first, I was young.
But my second I discovered "Preggie pop drops" (google them)
HEAVENNNN!
my morning sickness was so bad I couldnt hold down water.. nothing. Hospital admitted me with servere dehydration and iv's!
But this pregnancy.. I've thrown up three times in 3 weeks. And though I feel sick after I eat.. I haven't vomitted like the two girls..
Ooo.. Maybe it's a boy?
With this baby I have been nauseous 24/7 for weeks! I tried everything everyone said but the only thing I've found that works are Ginger Root pills. I take 2 in the early afternoon and it keeps the nausea away. Definitely give it a try!

With my first child teddy grahams were my saving grace, with this pregnancy not much works, My dr perscribed me several diferent medications until i found 1 that works for the most part, i still have days where i feel sick but other days i don't throw up at all.
But i do want to let everyone know that if your dr perscribes Reglan or metoclopramide please please please be careful I had severe side effects from it and it caused severe depression so if you are taking it and feel like something is wrong talk to your dr right away.
