I was thinking that we could post our favorite recipies or combination of meals that the whole family enjoys. Then when we need more ideas for our families we could reference this thread. I personally plan my meals a month in advance, so this would give me an opportunity to add some new items to my menu. Ill add some of our favorites soon.

for our lazy don't want to cook days we do Taco Biscuits!

prepare your taco meat as normal, flatten biscuits into a large muffin pan, scoop in the taco meat bake at 350 for 13-17 minutes, add cheese and enjoy!

Easy Chicken Enchiladas


  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. oil
  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken breasts
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) no-salt-added diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 tub (10 oz.) Philadelphia® Santa Fe Blend Cooking Creme, divided
  • 1/2 cup Kraft® Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese
  • 8 flour tortillas (6 inch)


  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Cook and stir onions in hot oil in large skillet on medium heat 4 to 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Stir in chicken, tomatoes, 3/4 cup cooking creme and shredded cheese.
  • Spoon about 1/3 cup chicken mixture down center of each tortilla; roll up. Place in 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with remaining cooking creme. Cover.

Cheeseburger Paradise Soup


  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped seeded jalapeno pepper
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cups 2% milk, divided
  • 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 package (16 ounces) process cheese (Velveeta), cubed
  • Crumbled cooked bacon


  • In a Dutch oven, combine the first nine ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  • Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and mushrooms in butter over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add to soup. Stir in 4 cups milk; heat through.
  • In a small bowl, combine flour and remaining milk until smooth; gradually stir into soup. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat; stir in cheese until melted. Garnish with bacon.

1 pound lean ground beef
1 (32 ounce) jar sauce
32 ounces cottage cheese
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons dried parsley
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
1/2 tsp garlic powder
9 lasagna noodles boiled
1/2 cup water

In a large skillet over medium heat brown the ground beef. Drain the grease. Add pasta sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, 2 cups of the mozzarella cheese, eggs, garlic powder, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, salt and ground black pepper.
To assemble, in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish evenly spread 3/4 cup of the sauce mixture. Cover with 3 lasagna noodles, 1 3/4 cup of the cheese mixture, and 1/4 cup sauce. Repeat layers twice. Top with 3 noodles, remaining sauce, remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Add 1/2 cup water to the edges of the pan. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree F(175 degrees C) oven for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Chicken n rice.
1 bag of white rice
2 cans of cream of chicken
1 can of chicken or 1 chicken breast cut into bite sized pieces

boil rice as directed on box
when rice is done add cream of chicken and canned chicken(if you use a breast cook it up before adding to rice). 
when done it should be thick not soupy.

add hot sauce and cheese as a topping.... delicious

‎1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/4 cup butter
6 cloves crushed garlic
2 cups seasoned dry bread crumbs


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a small saucepan melt butter/margarine with garlic. Dip chicken pieces in butter/garlic sauce, letting extra drip off, then coat completely with bread crumbs.
Place coated chicken in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Combine any leftover butter/garlic sauce with bread crumbs and spoon mixture over chicken pieces. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Baked Spaghetti:
8 oz. cooked spaghetti
2 tbs. butter
1/3 c. parmasean cheese
1.2 tsp salt 
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg beaten 
1.5 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion 
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
2 tbs. veg oil
15.5 oz. spaghetti sauce (use your fav.)
1 tbs sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlix salt
8 oz. cottage cheese
4 oz. mozzarela cheese

Place cooked spaghetti in a 9x13 dish. stir in butter, parm.cheese, salt and pepper, and egg until combined. saute beef, onion and green pepper until brown. drain. stir in spaghetti sauce, oregano, sugar, garlic salt, simmer for 10 mins. spread cottage cheese over spaghetti layer, top with meat mixture. bake at 350 for 30 mins, top with mozz.cheese and bake for an additional 10 mints. let stand 15 minutes before cutting

Patty Melt Panini
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 large Vidalia or sweet onion, sliced
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tbs. worchestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. black pepper
8 slices seedless rye
8 slices of American cheese
1/4 c. Thousand Island dressing

Heat butter in skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook, stirring occassionally, for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine beef, worcestshire sauce, garlic powder, oregano, and pepper in a medium bowl. Shape into 4 patties, trying to mimic the shape of the bread.
Heat a panin press or George Foreman grill to medium hot. Grill beef patties for 3 to 4 minutes or until down. Remove to plate.
Place 4 slices of rye on a cutting board. Top each for 1 slice of cheese, 1/2 c. onions, a beef patty, another slice of cheese, then another peice of bread. Grill 2 sandwiches for 3 minutes, then repeat. 
Serve with Thousand island dressing.

‎8Oz ziti or penne rigate
1/4Lbs chicken cut into bite size pieces
1lg egg lightly beaten
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
1/4 cup olive oil
2 garlic cloves minced 
1/2 tsp dried oregano 
1/8 tsp pepper 
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup of parm cheese
1/2 torn basil leaves 
1/2 cup of cherry/grape tomatoes
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese

1)preheat broiler. cook pasta according to directions on box. drain well.dip chicken in egg, place breadcrumbs in sealable bag add chicken in batches,shake to coat.
2)heat 2tbs of the olive oil saute chicken until cooked thoroughly
3) heat remaining olive oil in skillet add tomatoes,and garlic and cook until wilted(3min) add cream oregano salt and pepper mix well remove from heat
4) in a baking dish combine, tomatoes, pasta, chicken, half of the mozzarella and the parm half of the basil sprinkling with remaining mozzerella and broil until melted. sprinkle with remaining basil
