Share some of your language pet peeves.

A few that set my teeth on edge:

"I have no ideal."

"It's a mute point."

"She bought a new bedroom suit."

One of my coworkers says it all. the. time.  If it weren't for that, it probably wouldn't bother me so much.

mine are more typing grammar errors like "your" vs "you're" etc.

"Alot."
Improper use of their, there, and they're.
Any double negatives.

saying so and so and me. or me and so and so. ex. Trent and me. Drives me nuts. DH is bad about that. He'll be telling a story and say that and i just have to interrupt him and say "and I"

Also  the improper use of their, there, and they're. or your and you're

and I can't stand the texting shortcuts. DH does them and it drives me crazy!

My biggest one is saying "pacific" instead of specific.

LOL, the pacific one reminded me of a story my husband told about himself.

For a long time he thought humans had "pose-able" thumbs.
