Hi ladies so I was brushing my sons teeth when I noticed when I lifted his lip up on top and bottom the his gums were  a brownish black color. It wasn't all over just areas on the top gum and the bottom wasn't as bad. Can some one let me know if they've experienced this with their children? I plan to take him to the dentist but just want to know if anyone else has been through this. ... I do give him juice and he likes to drink from the sippy still... .. Im sure it doesn't help.. thanks ladies

Is this what you are talking about?  I found this picture here: Dental Health Directory  from what I can tell it's not really a major concern and it is treatable.
