Use some dawn dish soap. That should help

I second the Dawn dishsoap. Just be super careful not to get it in her eyes! It will take a few washings too!

use vinegar. it might make her hair smell bad but it will loosen the oils up and get it out of her hair. let it sit for a few minutes and it should break some of the stuff down.

dd used to get diaper cream in her hair and sometimes she even put peanut butter on her head I tried everything and let me tell you vinegar will work way better and faster than dishwashing liquid for really greasy stuff. Just when you get it all out then wash with regular shampoo and make sure you use plenty of conditioner so it doesn't dry her hair out.
