Saturday family activities (at home)

The only day we have real family time is on Saturday.  My husband works nights and on Sunday morning.  What is there to do at home during the day on a Saturday (my daughter who is 4, myself, and my husband.)  Last weekend we painted a tea set.  This weekend we went fishing and "swam" in our blow-up pull in the yard.  What are some more activities we can do at home together?

Sounds like fun. We hang out in the pool all the time.

I've been googling it.  I found one suggestion of building a tent in your yard and eating lunch inside it.  Sounds great!  We bought a tent over the winter, but because of my husband's new job, we doubted if we would ever be able to use it.  Any other creative or off-the-wall suggestions?

Love them!  Before mother's day we made a stepping stone for grandma.  Then the teaset more recently.  I just don't know of many others that would be fun for all of us.

Good idea, too.  I suppose they have kits.  Forgive me for sounding stupid, but do birds just lay eggs in the spring?  I was wondering if we could still get a bird to nest in it...
