At 2 years and 6 months:

your child is 29 pounds, and that is
at the 53rd percentile for weight.

your child is 36 inches, and that is
at the 61st percentile for height.

***If you don't know what percentile, you can use this handy calculator*** ***If your child is under the age of 2, use the SECOND link.***

I like to pay attention to percentiles just for fun and for me to track her growth and development considering as last summer she lost so much weight from having chronic diarrhea that she went from the 50th percentile to a percentile that was super low. At 18 months, she weighed less than she did at 12 months of age.

Oh lord my kids fell of the chart within a month of them being born. There's nothing wrong with them. They're just short and scrawny cause of mine and their fathers genetics.  my 4 (almos 5) year old is 26 lbs and my 3 (almost 4) year olf is 24lbs.
