Eating time

How much time do you allow your toddlers for meal and snack times?

I have 1 toddler that is a pain to get to sit down to eat, but once she's sitting down she focuses on eating.

I have another toddler that sits down easily (he LOVES to eat), but lately he's been too busy talking and goofing off at meal and snack times.

As much time as she wants. I don't have a set time.

As much time as he wants usually. I don't like to turn food into a battle here. I tried that already and failed miserably. We were both upset and frustrated so I just don't anymore.

I try to limit meal times to 30 minutes. Otherwise they lose focus on eating and play and talk instead

No set time here. She is usually done in half an hour, just like me. LOL

For breakfast and lunch we set a timer for twenty-five minutes.  This has helped a lot.

We've been giving her about 30 minutes to an hour.  She would sit there all day & take her sweet time eating if we let her.  That or she'll keep getting up & going back.

There's no set time....as long as they want.
