I watch Dr. Oz a few days a week and today he's talking about how there is arsenic in apple juice.  Here's a few links.

The FDA says it's safe to drink. Good enough for me:

It is naturally occurring. There is also cyanide in the seeds, which get thrown into the grinding process as they make the juice. Now, if the companies are screwing it up, then that needs to be on them.

If we were to examine every thing we consumed as a food product, we'd find something wrong with it. I don't care for doctors who tend to dig up something to scare the American public with...doesn't matter what it is...just don't care for them.

Sometimes the Dr. Oz  show has useful information, but I agree with this statement.

And so....why is there arsenic in drinking water & bottled water, too???!!  Ugh..So confusing.  Guess I'll continue to let my kid drink apple juice, since it can't be any worse than him drinking water!!  :-/

FDA also says that aspartame is safe.  Aspartame turns into fermaldahyde when mixed with hydrochloric acid.
