Poop Art on the walls. UGH! -- help?

I have a 2.5yr old boy. He insists on taking off his diapers and playing in them!

The wet ones he swings around until all the "jelly-like" substancs is scattered around his room... Or the poop diapers he smears on his bed and walls and doors.

I have tried the "cool bath" method.

I turned his Toddler bed back into a Crib!

I send him to bed FULLY clothed. (he can remove everything himself)

I don't know what to do, and I cant keep scrubbing and re-painting the walls!

Not to mention Steam cleaning is not a monthly expense I want to take on!

I have a friend whose youngest son did this too....(even sampled the flavor...ew).  She would cut the feet off of footie jammies, and put them on him backwards (so the zip up the back) when putting him to bed/nap.  Nathan was no longer able to get to the diaper.

Good Luck!!!

My son never did this thankfully, but I think if he were to start I would definitely be potty training as soon as possible. Good luck!

What worked for a while with us was to cut the feet out of the footie pjs, then put them on inside out and backwards.
After the girls figured out how to get them off.. We used duct tape around the diaper. 2-3 times around, but make sure it isn't too tight. Wish you the best of luck! It's definately not a fun phase.
