How big was your child at 33 months?

My daughter is almost 3..  She's around 27-29 pounds (I don't know which scale is right), and is 2'11, or 35 inches..  She seems really small compared to most other kids I see that are her age.  I'm not too worried about it, because the doctors say she's perfectly healthy (not to mention, my mothers side of the family is tiny, most women are under 5'1" and 100 pounds as adults).

I was just curious.  I'm wondering if she really is that small, or if it's just the kids around here.

Here's the chart my pedi uses to tell me DD is tall for her age (although she seems to be the same height as her classmates...)

Here's the CDC's pdf, and an interactive version.

She does sound tiny, but if it's hereditary, then I wouldn't worry, just as long as she is growing.

My daughter is 33 mos, 24 pounds & 36 inches. Het pedi isn't worried about it. She was born 7.7, 21inches but ever since her 2 month check up she's been under the 10%. She's been steady on the charts, & eats constantly, so that's why no one is worried.

I'd say yours is small, but not too small. She's just right for her :)

Girls tend to be a little smaller than boys, I don't have any girls I have two boys but my pedi said girls tend to be a little smaller. My son is 13 months and he's in the 95% tile of height and he 21 percent in weight. He's tall and skinny.

My DD is almost 34 months, she's 28 pounds, about 34 inches. She IS smaller than alot of kids in her daycare. She's perfectly healthy, just on the smaller side!

My DD will be 32 months on the first and weighs 29 pounds but is just over 39 inches tall.  Now my DD is way taller than most children her age so I would think your child is normal size.  My DD is a skinny mini
