What is with parents who go to ice cream parlors with their kids at 5-6 pm?
Don't most young chidlren eat by 5 or 6 pm?
I confess---I AM one of "those" parents! However at 5 30 pm i was so shocked by all the parents of other young children coming in for ice cream too...are they just on different schedules than me? Do they eat super-early? Or are they like me, seeing it as a special treat and if she gets her appetite ruined for 7ish later dinner it's okay this one time or once a month time?
What about you? Do you do this?
hell ya i would do this.. nothing wrong with it.. if your out and about and your kids were good sure go for it.. or just for fun cause it is Saturday. yeah.. I would so do this. we usually eat dinner around 5-6pm only cause my daughter goes to school during the week but on the weekend the time is free to do whatever and just have fun..
It's so hard to say.
We usually do a 5pm dinner if we are going out for treat afterwards so the kid are in bed on time.

Im sure most people do this as a treat. Im so jealous. I wish i could be home from work at a decent enough time to have dinner early and then spend some time with my kids at a ice cream place. I dont even get home Mon -Fri til 6:30 if im lucky and my DH works nights Thurs - Sun so we never all have a day home together. My kids eat dinner late every night. 7-7:30. Wish it could be different.
