My 3 year old has suddenly started stammering. I am not sure why. Is it ok? I pray it is not going to stay..

mine does too; i think it's part of the learning phase.  they have all these thoughts that they're trying to get them out as fast as their little brains think about them! i think it's cute.

So does mine. I was told its normal. Their little minds think faster than they can say what's on their mind

Mine does too. It is perfectly normal at that age.

It's called normal disfluency and it is normal as long as they aren't bothered by it and don't have signs of effort/stress while trying to talk. Just dont call attention to it - don't say; take a breath or slow down or you'll make it worse. Just ignore it.

A common cause of stuttering is dominant hand confusion. Maybe he is a lefty but inadvertently being pushed to use his right hand?

Obviously it isn't the only cause but might be something to look out for!
