My 21 month old daughter is still sleeping in my room in a crib. This weekend I am moving her into the bedroom with her brother. Should I move the crib in there and let her get used to sleeping in a seperate room still in a crib and then trasfer her to a twin later or should I put up the twin bed for her and move her straight onto the twin bed?

I would say move the crib in there first. She's comfortable in the crib and it will help her with the new surroundings. After about a few weeks to a month, move her to the big girl bed. Hope it works out hun!

I would put the crib in first. It's familiar and will help the process.
We just went through this . I moved her in with the crib into her sisters room. After a few weeks try the twin.
If she's not crawling out of her crib yet, keep her in the crib.
I agree with this...

I think it will be less of an adjustment for her if you take one step at a time. First new room, THEN new bed! Unless you want her climbing in bed with you every night.
Well her grandparents just bought her and her brother bunk beds, they are going to get set up today but I think I am going to keep her crib set up for another 2 weeks. She has slept in the new room now for 2 nights and she is doing great. Due to her starting "school" today I am going to keep her in a crib for a little while. 2 new changes in 3 days is enough change.
Either way. Whatever your child feels better doing ,so youmay want to ask :).
Good luck :)
