I really try to find something but everything I see says for 6 and up or something. Advil treats the fever if she has one and claritan if she has allergies but I CANNOT find cold medicine for a 2 year old!!!

there's all natural cold remedies that you can give them (my sons daycare provider does).  You might be able to find them in a drug store, or at a health food store. other than that i just pump him up with vitamin C (lots of orange juice). use the saline stuff to help the stuffiness in his nose and tylenol if he has a fever.

Cold medicines only mask the symptoms they do not cure the cold. They no longer recommend giving cold medicine to small children.

This but... when I worked in PEDs the dr always recommended TRIAMINIC. It's what I use for my 2yo too. It's dosed by weitght. 1 mL for every 10 pounds. So 20 pounds would get 2mL, 25 pounds - 2.5mL, 30 pounds - 3mL ... etc. Good luck. Hope your baby feels better soon!

Hyland's makes a honey syrup that I give my little girl. Other than that, nothing is really going to help if it is actually a cold. There are things you can give for allergies, but for a cold you can just help them feel a little better while it runs its course. The saline mist in the nose is great for stuffiness if you can get her to let you spray it in her nose. We make a game out of it, and my DD does fine.
