Do you ever let your kids have soda?

If we are out somewhere and they're thirsty I may give them a sip of my drink. But I will never order a soda/tea or make them a cup at home. They're 4 & 2...

I offered it to Ashley once or twice at parties, and she hates it. The fizziness irritates her. lol. Hannah used to drink a lot of ginger ale because she got carsick, so she's always trying to sneak mine and DH's whenever we have it. lol

No, not at all! I don't like the idea of young kids drinking soda. I think they are too young as well.

Yes, only on special occasions. Although, I made a compromise with my 6 yr old. He asked since we aallllllwwwaayyyyssss (yep, he dragged it out) say no, if we eat out on a Friday, if he can pick what he drinks. I said sure, we hardly ever eat out on Friday, but he doesn't have to know that. Sometime, we just might.

No way in heck!

I have a 15 month old and a 3 year old. Neither have ever tasted soda, and I hoep to keep it away from them for as long as possible.

There was one time, though, when I got a fruitista freeze from Taco Bell, and put some in my (then) 2 year old's cup of water, because usually when I have a juice or something, I put a little in his water so he feels included. Anyway, after a few minutes, the thought hit me that this drink is a lot like soda, and I started really freaking out that I had given him some.

My kiddo is 2 and we do not. I hope to keep her off it as long as possible (till she starts asking) then it will be really limited and the healthiest ones I can get my hands on (like Hansen's) She doesn't need the extra sugar or chemicals.
