I need ideas on what to fill those little plastic Easter eggs with!  Something other than stickers, we have WAY too many! (I think there's 4 or 5 formula cans floating around STUFFED full of them!) DS will be 4 in June, I'm completely stumped, we'd normally do regular eggs and bring them to my mom's but we live too far away sooo I decided instead of wasting a dozen eggs we'll do plastic ones this year. We do very minimal candy so I'll only do a few small pieces of that.... I need to go in the next 2 weeks to get the stuff. I got almost everything for his basket (thanks to Christmas clearance) I just have to fill the eggs and do a small basket for the baby

You could put change in just make sure he puts it in a bank so he doesn't put it in his mouth. Maybe match box cars? How about a free movie for him. make up a paper slip decorate it. when he finds it you can explain what it is. I don't know if this will help but it's all I can think of for 4years and these ideas are for a little older children. Good Luck!!

Thanks :)
My mom used to do it when I was little so I tried calling her for ideas but can't reach her... I hate having to do Easter shopping before they put the Easter stuff out... That would probably spark some ideas

You could still do the boiled eggs and turn them into an egg salad or eat them as hard boiled eggs.

No one in our house eats them, they'd just sit there

You could find a recipe that calls for them... The tatoos is also a great idea!

Also you could drain the yolk/whites out of them, or you could see if the food bank would accept them. Thay way you could teach your kids about giving back at the same time...

I haven't found any yet, we rarely use eggs in anything especially if you can taste it at all

How hard is it to drain them??? I could always use them uncooked....  in a cake or something and do the plastic ones outside like we normally do

We put animal crackers, grapes, pretzles, money, bouncy balls, some of them are a scavenger hunt, the girl is easier than the boy because we put hair stuff in hers.
