At what age will/did you let your little one ride the school bus? I rode the bus from the first day of school, but that was like, um 23yrs ago! LOL DD is only 3 right now, but lately I've been thinking about when she goes to school because it's pretty much right around the corner!

My daughter is in ECE and they don't start bussing until kindergarden, I'm on the fence. They seem so very organized and specific when I see the busses get loaded up and such. I don't think it's a bad thing...

There is no need for ds1 or 2 to ride the bus to/from elementary school due to how close we live and bc I teach there.
My ds1 has rode on a school bus for field trips.
Not sure what middle school wI'll involve.

Not until he's much older if I can help it. I understand why kids need to be in carseats and booster seats for so long, as it is so much more safe...but they can flop about on a school bus without even a seatbelt? It just doesn't make sense...
