Depends.  For a run of the mill cold, no.  If the fever seems to be up over 100 then I will give Tylenol or if they are having trouble sleeping.

Tylenol/Advil for fever. Vicks vapor rub+ humidifier for a cold. That's it unless it is dr prescribed. For my 3 yr old. My 11 yr old, I'm not as worried about cold meds.

Yup. He gets allergy/cold meds bc he's allergic to pollen, mold, dust so when he gets stuffy/runny nose I give him meds.
He gets tylenol for frevers.

My son had a febral seizure in the past so I was told don't mess with fevers or colds

Yes if i dont control her congestion early on she gets ear infections....she had 11 ear infection, bronchitis, and pneumonia during her first year of life bc i didnt want to over medicate. Now as soon as symptoms start i use appropriate med for symptom
