My 2 year old ds decided this morning that he wanted to sit on the potty. Having just been changed a mere ten mins ago, I doubted he had to go. But he sat on the potty and tried to pee. Nothing happened so he got down. I asked him if he wanted his diaper back on. He said no. So, I offered him his underware, which he took!
So, now we wait. He is currently in underware, running around. Being a little hyper and crazed at the moment, I do not know if he heard me say, "If you need to go, tell me!" We will see! Lord, give me strength today! Wish us luck!
Today will be a good day. No matter what!

Good luck! I've just began training my 2 year old dd, every ten minutes she comes to me "ewwww I poop" so we run, we sit....nothing. I may just camp out in the bathroom today lol.

Not wanting the diaper is a good sign! Expect some accidents, but you're on the right track!
