No, I was born in the UK, but I've lived in Germany for 12 years in September :)
I've visited Berlin twice, it is an incredible city and full of interesting places and culture, but you need to stay for at least a week :P The first time we only went for three days and we saw hardly anything :L but the next time, I went on a school trip, and we were there for a week and saw just about everything, although we would leave at 6am and come back at 11pm :P
Awww how sweet! :) I don't have any children yet, I was expecting but miscarried, she was due on May 24th.

There's this thing through my school where they can send us for anywhere from 3 weeks - a year. I was thinking about going but leaving the babies even for a few weeks scares me haha. My son has lung problems and a little cold can turn into a hospitalization.
