2 years still missing her canine teeth (upper and bottom)

Hello,

My daughter just turned 2 in April, and I'm a little bit concern because she doesn't have all her teeth yet.

She has 12 teeth for now, the 4 upper front, and 4 bottom front and 4 molars, but that's it.

The 4 missing canine doesn't look like they are going to come soon, her gums are not showing any sign of teething.

What's about your toddler?do they already have all their teeth?

Thanks

My son only had his 2 bottom teeth until he was 18 months old. Than he started getting all his other. They still all took a awhile. I not positive but I think I've heard of kids never growing certain teeth.

If you're really concerned call and talk to your dentist. They can advise you about how concerned you should be or refer you to a pedi dentist. They can do xrays to determine if the teeth are there. But I'm not sure at what age they get concerned.

My DD has had all 20 since she was 18 months but she was early.  I'm not sure what the normal range is but you may think of taking her to the dentist if you haven't already.  They may be able to tell you and/or take xrays to see what's going on.

Thank you for your answers:-)
I already took her to a dentist a few month ago and she wasn't concern.

My dd is 18mths and just got her canine. Has she seen a dentist?

I just saw your answer to that. If she isn't worried then you shouldn't be either. It takes a while for some.

I would talk to your doc or dentist if you are concerned.
