Ds graduates pre-k 3/4 on Friday and that will be his last day .
Originally, I had planned to have him attend summer camp there and then pre k 4/5 in the fall.
I pay 500 dollars a month for him to go there. About a month ago, the head teacher quit. They were to have a replacement the same day, but turns out the woman couldn't get her work visa in order on time.. it takes a full month to hire another teacher, in which time the consistency of the class is completely lost.
The teachers aid admitted that she has no idea what she is doing, every time I walk in there the kids are running wild and they never got around to learning the letter W, X, Y or Z. The new main teacher started last week, and is short with parents and just plain rude.
My son has been injured 3 times in the past month .. a huge bump on the head, from falling in gym,a GASH in his leg from tripping over a tree at recess and a bite mark that no one could tell me why or when it happened.. no incident reports.
When the new teacher started last week, she changed all of the rules, and then changed them all again today..
So my question is.. Ds loves school. How do I tell him that he's not going back?
He will be spending the summer with a close friend of mine while I work - he will have a lot more fun, she's a very active mom, plus I am adding her to my memberships for the science center the zoo and the natural history museum
So how do I explain this to him
