toddler growth question

 My DD goes up a clothing size in the fall and she really only needs to go up for height. She has been like this for the past 2 years and she is 4.

lol I have never said my kids grow fast lol, they are actually the opposite. My 3yo will be 4 next month and can still fit her size 18 month swim suit. She has worn 2T clothes for 2 years lol. Now she is growing taller but since she mostly wears skirts and dresses they last longer. ALL her summer clothes ( well the ones not detroyed) are being worn again this year.  Same goes for my 5yo. He's been wearing size 4/5 for going on 2 years now. Now he's getting to the end of wearing 4/5 , they all fit perfect now without room to grow. Both my kids are really skinny, I have a hard time finding length with their size waists.

My son is 4 and wears a size 6 in youth.  My daughter is almost 3 and is transitioning into a 3T.  I think genetics has a big factor.  My baby boy is a tall kid which he gets from great grandpa.  Daughter is petite, which she gets from grandma and me.  If you have concerns, talk to your child's doctor.

That's what it shoudl be.  If she's 3, she should be between 2-4T.....but my son decided to sprout twice this year :/.  Believe me, I'd prefer the "just need clothes every spring" kinda guy LOL

Both of my kids grew really fast for about the first 15-18 months, then it slowed significantly. My dd (almost 5 1/2) has been wearing a 5T for over a year now.

my son only needs clothes like once a year as well. He will be going up to the next size soon but last time he got new clothes was september for his birthday.

Ava really hasn't grown much at all and she will be 3 soon. She can still wear her clothes from last summer. My 19 month old and her are pretty much the same size.
