Okay so I just bought a decent sized kiddie pool yesterday for 12 bucks at walmart. It can hold about 260 gallons of water!! So I REALLLLLLYYYY don't want to have to dump it and fill it every time the kids want to play in it. I filled it up yesterday, they played in it and I didn't dump it and they played in it again today. It is still filled, but it has gotten pretty dirty even though I told them to not get in it without first putting their feet in a bucket of water so they don't put a bunch of dirt in it. Is there anything else I can do to prevent it from getting super gross without have to completely dump it every time? I am not trying to spend a lot of money either... exactly why I don't want to refill it everyday!

Sorry just re read and saw u have that
lol.. I was thinking to myself when I read your first post "I thought I put that I had a bucket" then just read the second one... they don't always use it and they try to bring every dirty toy they own into the pool and I try to explain to them that this type of pool will get holes in it and that it gets very dirty. We had a really small hard plastic pool last year so I wanted to get something bigger than was easy to store when the summer was over.
Honestly I don't think you're going to have an easy time keeping a pool clean. Not with kids jumping in and out constantly and dragging all sorts of dirt, bugs and grass in with them. If it's like what I'm thinking it is; one of those "snap set" pools, then you're going to have to empty it at least once a week and rinse it out. That's to keep the algae from forming. Even if you bought a pool with a filter and a pump attached, you're going to have to spend $$ maintaining it.
