rainy day fun

Its been raining here all week. My ds who is two also has a broken leg, and isn't supposed to put any weight on it. I'm running out of ideas to keep him entertained. We have played with all of his toys several times. We have colored and drawn. I put him in a laundry basket and gave him rides around the house. I can't take him to an indoor play place, b/c if his leg. I can't let him run around outside and play in puddles. I have been letting him "cook" and sort cans or objects in the pantry. I don't know what else to do. We will probably build a fort or do a scavenger hunt later. Do you ladies have any other suggestions?
Thanks.

Bored games, create flash cards with him, print out pictures of animals or something and then have him help paste them onto construction paper and then have him match the word to the animal. i know he is 2 but its a good way for him to learn and play. also if you have beads or something crafty like that have him work on numbers and sorting colors. good luck feel free to message me for more ideas. my son has adhd

Play dough, finger paint, bake sugar cookies let him shape the dough or use the cookie cutters then make some watery icing (powdered sugar, butter, vanilla and a little milk and food coloring) give him the icing amd let him paint the cookies.
Puzzles, books, legos, blocks

I will Google that! It sounds fun!
Ah! The library. We have been living here about 6 months and I haven't located it yet. I guess it is about time. Thanks!
