Does your 4yr old still use jargon?

Jargon is basically nothing, just jumbly "words" used as fillers in sentences. So instead of saying "the cat went outside and jumped on the wall" they something like "the cat jugfar hafner fally outside and trista kranta up drada wall". It's more normal in younger ages cuz they are mimicking basically how we talk. Just wondering if any other 4yr olds still use a lot of jargon?

(And my son has developmental delays including speech and has been in therapy for 2yrs, just wondering about others his age)

My 4yo does not use a lot of jargon, but he is very advanced and according to the school he went to his vocabulary is that if a 4th grader.

I have a 3 yr old in speech therapy. Sometimes he does use jargon. Today for example, he started on one subject, murmured something in the middle, and ended up on another subject. Maybe it's a speech development thing.

No my kids even when they were little never did that.  My kids were all speaking in sentences by 18mo's.

No, my 4 year old doesn't do that...she can be hard to understand when she gets excited becsuse her voice gets high pitched...but her vocabulary is that of a 6-7 year old and her KABC and IW tests have her in the gifted range.

No, my son did not at 4.  His preschool teacher said his language was very clear for his age when he started at 3 years 9 months.  My DD will be 3 in a couple weeks and she has words in a sentence that I can't understand but not to the extent of your example sentence.  She speaks pretty clearly as well.

my dd never used filler words.  have you asked him why he says those words?  sometimes 4yo kids will say silly things or think that making stuff up is funny.

No, she doesn't. She didn't when she was two either.
