Beat the Heat Challenge Day 5: Crafting & Creating Keepsakes!
Some days the best way to beat the heat is to stay indoors! Today's activities are summer themed hand and footprint crafts that can be keepsakes for years to come!
Materials Needed:
Paper or Canvas
Paint, Markers, or Crayons
Misc Supplies (wiggle eyes, sea glass, pipe cleaners, sequins, etc)
Hands and foot lobster Butterfly feet

Handprint Fish

How do you keep your kids entertained when it's too hot or rainy to go outside? What crafts have you done this summer?
If you missed yesterday's activity, you can find it here. If you haven't signed up for the Beat the Heat Challenge yet, you can do so here.
This is perfect for the boys to make tomorrow while I help mom make Marshmallow Babies for a baby shower....it will help them feel like they're doing what we're doing.
I'll just have to wash my hands 50 million times while I go inbetween helping them and making babies, lol....or my dad can help them.
Great ideas. We have two boxes full of craft supplies, plus paper, crayons, markers, ect and the kids can make what ever they want
So cute. The nephews did shoe fish and even did them with my son.
