My dd 20 months love swimming, getting her hair wet face wet and can jump in the pool ( adult supervision) Yet when it comes to bath time she screams her head off when we wet her hair or her face gets wet ????

My DD is 4 and is STILL that way. She actually does better with a cool bath than a warm one.

My son is the same way too. He hates for his face to get wet and when water gets in his ears.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I feel so bad I actually dread bath time :(

My DD1, 3, was like that until we put her in swim lessons. Now none of that bothers her!

I thought that would help but she love the pool! She even jumps in the pool to an adult. I just dont get why the tub is any different.

Because she is having to get cleaned. My dd is 6 and was the same way until about a year ago now she begs to take baths or showers

She is also a wonderful swimmer begging to be on swim team next summer

Have you tried a colder bath. If my daughter would have her own way she would bathe in freezing cold bath water. She settles for luke warm. If I rinse her head with our detachable head, it must be with cold water. I get less complaint this way.
