He Thinks It's Funny

DS thinks telling him "no" is funny.  So he does whatever it is we don't want him to do over and over again just because he thinks it's funny for me to say no or for him to disobey me (I'm not really sure which, but I'm leaning toward disobeying since he still does it if I "ignore" him)

Some of the things he does are potentially dangerous (mildly, though I suppose he could probably manage to snap his neck).

Any ideas?

He's 18 months.

Instead of using the word, physically redirect him to an appropriate behavior. It is more effective and will stop the battle of wills

He's VERY young and obviously thinks you are playing a game. That doesnt mean you need to be more strict. It means you need to just get up and physically correct the problem (not mean, not forcefully). Just either move him or move the object. Show him what he can do. If he's climbing on furniture, take him outside to a playground. Parenting a toddler is a lot of physical, demanding, non stop, hard work!

I still ahve this issue with Caden from time to time.  And I do the cheek pluck.  Gets his attention.

This is what I used to do. Their attention spans are so short, that they hardly even notice...  Whenever you say "no" or take something away, always replace the object or the behavior with something else.
