My two year old wakes up repeatedly throughout the night. Neither of us has gotten a full nights rest in a very long time because It's been going on for three months now. He wakes up and says these things:
-I need a hug
-my foot hurts, then can't tell me which one
-I need water
-please come pick me up, I want to sleep with you.
I'm at my wits end, I'm so tired of him waking up 3,4,5,6 times a night, everynight! It's now 2:23am and this is the second time he has woke me up saying those things I've stated above!
His father and I separated in may of this year, and yes I know he may be going through a hard time but waking up repeatedly during the night is definitely pushing it.
I don't know what else to do. Advice would be nice, if you have nasty comments keep them to yourself please.

Just keep putting him to back to bed. He will stop once he realizes that he's not gonna get what he wants, that its time to sleep. Hang in there momma.
