My problem is my son just started school. We just moved here 4 months ago and he started school last week. The school is ok...the bus' are another story. The first day, they LOST my son! They told me he'd be on bus 133, the morning bus said 51...then the afternoon bus comes and the bus number is 71...see the problem?? Then i call in a panicking rage. "Where the F&%$ is my son!!!" The proceed to tell me that my son is on route 139 in the morning, and route 132 in the afternoon. so where did the 133 come in at?? And since when do schools have route numbers instead of regular bus #s? so now we know the route numbers which is ok. BUT yesterday, apparently we got a new bus driver. We were not informed. Well school starts at 11:40...my husband waited with our son for the bus....at about 11:45 he decides the bus isn't coming. My son didnt go to school because the new bus driver didn't know the route. So now he has and unexcused absence. I'm slightly pissed off.

That is terrible I would be super upset too. We don't have buses in my city, it is a good and bed situation. I am debating putting my son in pre-k when the time comes. I put my daughter in pre-k and it didn't really do much for her at all she just played all day and I think it made it harder for her when she started kindergarden. We will see I have a few years to figure it out first.

Well my son was in a private school which was amazing. this is a public school and i love his teachers but ughh. The buses suck
