I finally bought 123 magic...

I've just recently heard about it. Bump for you.

I've never read it

I've read it as well as 1-2-3 Magic for Christian Parents. The two-year-old doesn't respond at all. The four-year-old usually complies.

I did not read the book, but I borrowed the DVD from a friend.  It works in my house.....

 I've heard good things about it but never tried it personally

Yes and no. The structure and instruction was the same. The difference was in inclusion of verses and biblical principles.

i think someone recommended it to me once.

I didn't read it.

I don't think one method of discipline will work universally in any household...

I just kind of experimented until we found something that worked, lol.
