Literally every two Weeks, like clock work, my 2 year old son gets sick and runs fevers all weekend long. I give him vitamins and every night before bed I give him a bath cause been at daycare all day long. I don't know what to give him or what to do because I can't miss work or school (I'm in nursing school) every two Weeks. Anyone have any advice?

Nasty comments not needed. Thank you!

Is this his first year in school? Same thing used to happen to my daughter her first time in pre-k.  It happened the first couple of months until she got used to it.  I used to give her a little oj daily and Lil Critters Immune C Plus Zinc and Echinacea vitamins.  Seemed to really help.

Oh man, Im going through the same thing with my DS. He just started preschool this year. Its horrid. Is it your son's first time at daycare? If so, hopefully it wont last...he's just building up immunity for now. Its what I hope for for my son too. Im sorry you're going through it. Its truly terrible. :-(

Yeah it's his first time. Thank you, I'll definitely buy some of this and try it out.

I went thru this with my dd last year only she would barely even make it a week before getting sick again. I went out and purchased nature's way powdered probiotics and gave them to her every day. She never got sick the rest of the year. Not kidding. I highly recommend them. Gl.

Have you ever had him checked for strep?
This type of problem happened with my daughter when she was older than preschool age but it felt like she just kept getting sick over and over for about four months. It turned out that she had a drug resistant strep infection that had to be treated by a pediatric infectious disease specialist and multiple shots of penicillin.

Just took him to the doctor the other day And I have to turn in stool samples because he has been complaining of a tummy ache since he had croup two Weeks ago. I thought it was the steroids they gave him but tummy ache didn't stop.

Wow, that is strange that it's like clockwork... sounds like some of the other moms have experienced this too.  I'll have to remember this when my kiddos get in school.
