Are your LOs afraid of storms?

Mine are not, but when we get them, they are very small storms.  Just some lightning/thunder and a lot of rain pretty much lol.  They sleep right through it when it happens, which is not often.

My kids aren't really afraid of storms until the wind picks up and tornado sirens go off. They are right down the street and can be very frightening for a child to wake up to.

If they are awake they freak out, especially if there is thunder.

If they are already a sleep they never even hear them.

We had a terrible storm a couple months ago (dd is 20 months now) with some huge thunder. My 7 yr old was freaking while my toddler was shrieking with laughter and clapping! Thank God she is better about that stuff than her sister!

No, they love them. They sit right next to the window and yell boom whenever they hear the thunder and laugh.
