Just wondering what people's opinions of them are. I have been considering getting one for my 14month old daughter but I feel like lots of people have a negative view of them. For me I think it allows her to wander somewhat freely but I know she will stay right near me. Right now if I let her walk she will just run off - she is not old enough to stay close by.

This is what and holding/wrist/finger holding is for as well as strollers and carts. Yes they will run off. Use, I have a poor opinion of leashes

The negative ones. "It's dehumanizing" "its just called a harness to make people feel better about what they are using" lmao. My dog uses a HARNESS when we walk her. It's called a harness morons!

I agree with you then! :) It's only dehumanizing if it's abused.

I used to feel negatively about them- then I had kids.
