Snacks, I saw someone got those little milk carton shaped goldfish containers.  

Accessories for bigger items he is getting.

Maybe some educational DVDs.

animal crackers in the lttle carrying box, small books from dollar section, if he likes cars the lttle wheelies, snacks like puffs, and crunchies. these are all things I did last christmas for my son, he was 1.

I do too :) :).  My baby turned 1 Nov 3rd :). 

Some cute stocking stuffers would be teh Tonka Chucks trucks, little stuffed animals, balls (large enough not to choke on), 3D shapes, baby puffs cereal, anything like that :).
