Daddy advice

My husband travels for work, he is typically gone 3 weeks/home 1 and home on weekends. Recently we are having some daddy/daughter bonding issues with my 29month old. If I am not around she is fine, but if I am she won't let him help her with anything, won't snuggle with him, always wants mom, won't listen to him, etc. Any suggestions on helping them bond and helping her with the transition for travel. Thanks.

Maybe he can schedule some one on one time every day that he is home so that you can get out of the house and do whatever needs to be done or do some projects you've been wanting to do or something so that they can have their own special time together.

Maybe you can show her videos of him while he's gone. I know in a lot of military families, prior to deployment, dad will video reading bed time stories and the kids will watch the video every night before bed. The dad can still be part of their daily routine even if he isn't home.
