I have tried putting him back avery time he gets out, but I'm 30 weeks pregnant and can't handle the lifting.

Is the mattress on the lowest setting?  My mom always told me that if/when they can get out of their crib, it is time for a 'big boy' bed.

Yes, it's as low as it can go. We even tried turning the crib around because it has a high back, but he just crawled out the side and I could access him. We will be moving in the next month, and we will switch to a toddler bed so the baby can have the new one.

he needs a big boy bed and a gate for the door so he cant get out. depending on his age he may be getting out the nap phase. My two yr old gets out of bed a lot if Im doing something that requires her to stay in her room I block her from coming out if shes sleepy eventually she'll get back in the bed and go to sleep if not she may cry for a little and then play quietly till I get her out. If he can understnd tell him that he doesnt  have to go to sleep but he needs to have some quiet time and to just lay in bed or play quietly with his toys. If he's a toddler its time for a big bed anyway. my dd is two and has her own full size bed, it may even be a queen and she sleeps just fine in it she had it since she was about 21months hasnt fell out of it yet, its much more cmofortable than those extremely hard crib mattresses and she sleeps much better and comfortably. that maybe another reason why he gets out a lot.

He needs to have a big boy bed mama.

And what we did to make the transition easier.....we let him pick out his own bed lenins.  Then we left it open.  He was allowed to crawl in/out of his bed as much as he pleased.  BUT he had to be quiet and couldn't bother us.  He was able to get toys, books, etc.

That has worked VERY WELL for our family :).  He's 5 now and goes to bed extremely well.  We will see if his y ounger brother is just as easy :).

I rocked both of boys to sleep until about a month ago when we started putting them to bed at 9. The little one cried for about 3 nights, but got the hang of it. The past week is when we started having problems again.

Sorry I don't know.  My kids have never tried climbing out of their crib.  Here is a bump.

Another thing I did when I was pregnant was ly down with them and nap myself....then sneak away when they were asleep. I would make a big wall w pillows.
