No, not admitted.  My son had to go to the ER when he was 3 1/2-ish cuz he swallowed a nail but thankfully it was moving thru his digestive tract so we were able to go home.

Oh my gosh wow! Thank goodness it didn't puncture anything internal!

My 1st was for almost a week when he was a few old due to jaundice. New mom, trying to breastfeed. The nurses said bf every 4hrs. Pedi said every 1.5-2hrs... I complained to the hospital since he was admitted to the same one I gave birth.

My 2nd @ just a few old as well, for 2 or 3 days. He had rotavirus.

My 3rd wasn't, but he wasn't discharged til he was 8 days old due to breathing problems.

Yes. My youngest who, almost 17 months, was admittied at almost 8 months old. He had been going for weight checks frequently, because he wasn't gaining weight and then lost weight. They considered him FTT(simply bc of his weight issues) and had us stay to do before and after meal weight checks, and diaper weights for 4 days(longest 4 days of my life). Made him start eating more food and tried to get him supplementing with formula(which he wasn't having! Lol). He gained a few ounces so they let us go home.

I know!  Thankfully, it was just a small nail that held the mount in for his roller shade.
