What kind of music do you play around your toddlers.
we play almost everything. they dont pay attention to it.
so its usually foo fighters, metallica, korn, incubus, celtic woman, within temption, tech 9, eminem, lynyrd skynrd, linkin park, the beatles, the beach boys, frank sintatra, omg so much music lol.
If its going to be a song i know that has profanity tho i skip it.
usually they just dance to the beat and cant even understand the lyrics :P

we play the music we listen to but I skip the ones I know have cussing.
We listen to a lot of different stuff. We do tons of Laurie Berkner! My husband plays a pretty wide range of music all the time. We have a 20 month old and a 9 year old so we have to be careful of the lyrics but there is always something playing.
Whatever music we feel like listening(Nightwish,Pink Floyd.Rush.Frank,Enya) to but we do try to skip the songs with profanity.
We listen to a lot of kids music and we play our music too (Christian contemporary). They pick up the lyrics and sing them a lot (they're 4 and 2). :-)
I also have my wedding playlist which has Disney to DMB to a moulin rouge favorite.
I don't get to listen to NIN and sublime much anymore... What it comes down to is , is if I would be embarrassed if they belted a song in the grocery store, I don't play it. He may not know now... But that little sponge absorbs quick!
country, Christian, classic rock, Christmas
Mostly country or pop. They love country music the most.
Also toddler songs....they will dance to them.
We listen to a lot of country. I also like r&b a lot and pop type stuff occasionally. I use to like rap but after I matured and have kids now I don't care for most of it. I like the sound of it but I will only listen to it if I can find any without a lot of profanity and stuff in it. We also listen to Christian praise and worship music and we have lots of silly kids songs and bible songs. We also have things like Justin Beiber and some of the Disney Channel music (like china from A.N.T. Farm, and some shake it up cds and stuff like that.) So its a pretty big variety of stuff I guess.
