Do your LOs prefer the 'gender specific' toys?
I have both a boy and a girl so we have a bunch of toys that are meant for 'boys' and 'girls' and also gender neutral of course. Still, while my 3.5 year old daughter does play with her brother's cars and trucks and whatnot, she still mostly prefers her dolls, ponies, babies, and all that sort of stuff. Same with my son. He will play with her ponies and dolls and babies, but he still prefers his trains, cars, and all that.

My daughter (she's 2) is very girly. She loves purses and shoes. She likes to play dress up and have tea parties. She does like cars though too.
Sounds like my girl. She loves to dress up and wear dresses and cute things in her hair and PINK. She wants everything pink. When we bought a red van, she refused to call it red and wanted to call it pink. lol.

My daughter received a doll house and hot wheels for christmass. She plays with both, but I think she likes the hotwhels a little more.
DD loves building forts, "helping" Daddy with any project that involves tools, playing with dinosaurs, and driving cars around while dressed as a "pretty princess" with all sorts of accessories.
i have 3 boys so everything here is boy. when we go to friends houses with girl items thye complain.
