SAHMs: If you didn't have kids, would you be working or still at home?

Working. I quit my job cause my check would just to daycare but I did love the job.

I was working before kids but not at a career.  I always knew I wanted to be a SAHM so even if I wasn't able to have my own kids I would have adopted or something.  Once my kids are in school full time I'm hoping to use my time volunteering at a cause for kids.

I'd still be working. I loved working. I Miss it somedays

I'd probably be working. I don't have a job right now mostly because daycare costs so much, all my paycheck would go there and it would kinda defeat the purpose

I have no desire to be home if I wasn't raising kids. I love working and can't wait for my youngest daughter to turn 3 so I can put her in daycare and go back to work.

I could never be a housewife. I need to be out and about and talking to people. I like to feel I'm doing something with my life. When DD is 3 I should be done with school and hope to work in marketing.

I'd be working..didn't become a SAHM until our oldest was 20 months.
