do you allow your little ones to have playdoh?

addison is NOT allowed to have playdoh at all, none, and every single one of my friends and my familyn knows that.

we do not have hard wood floors, we only have carpet, she had it last year, and it got smashed into my carpet because she wouldn't listen to me and keep it on the sheet..

so what's my crazy mil get?

PLAYDOH THAT IS GLITTER.

now we all know that glitter is the STD of arts of crafts.

how difficult would it have been to call and ask if shes allowed to have something?!?!?!?!

since some aren't reading.

it's put on a towel...

and yes when it gets smashed in carprets it does stay there.

she had play doh last year, and it's still smashed into my carpet.

IT GETS PUT ON A TOWEL

I wouldn't call and ask about a gift. If you don't want it, return it.

My kids get finger paint, play-doh, clay, colors and markers. Before we moved into our house they would play at the kitchen table since all the floors were carpet.

i always ASK what the child is intongra or allowed to have.

it's common courtsey.

yeah return it and have an almost five year throw a fit  because it's something shes been asking for since it's the cinderella set.

i could've returned it, but then i would've been called ungreatful.

I wouldn't call you ungrateful. :). Calling and asking permission to buy a gift is silly. I don't know what intogra is, sorry.

Absolutely.

We use the table for activities like that. My 4 year old knows she is not allowed to walk around with play-doh or any other art/craft supplies.
