I would drive. Planes are annoying. I've driven with my daughter who is a year old now for 16 hours.
I brought food for when we were in the middle of nowhere so we could eat, expecially in ga where the highways look the same and empty for almost 200 miles, ick.
Where in ga are you heading?

WELL MY SON IS VERY ACTIVE ALWAYS MOVING. THERE ARE TIMES WHEN HE WANTS TO GET OUT OF HIS CARSEAT IF NOT HE CRIES AND GETS MAD. HOW DOES SHE ACT WHEN ITS LONG HOURS. DO YOU STOP FOR FOOD OR DO YOU CARRY ALOT OF FOOD WITH YOU. IVE NEVER DRIVEN SO MANY HOURS BEFORE AND IN SO MANY STATES.

She hates being restrained too. But hey you just have to deal with it kiddo haha. Bring toys and snacks to occupy the mind. I've made 16 hour trips 4 times within the last few months, not fun but not hard.

If you have the money, fly. Driving 14+ hours with a toddler is not worth the effort. Stopping every 2-3 hours for breaks and food means your 14 hours in the car will quickly become 16-17. It's much easier to get on the plane and fly. (I can get to my sister's house in 5.5 hours alone--with my family, it's 7 hours. And my boys are good in the car.)
Since you know how much of a hassle flying was last time, fix the issues. Minimize the amound of crap you are bringing on the plane (why on earth you would take your luggage and your child's luggage as carry on when you are also carring on the child??) And reduce the number of bags you are packing.
I have flown alone with 2 boys (1 infant, 1 toddler) and it really wan't that bad of an experience. I checked everything I could (which really was only 1 bag for the 3 of us). I carried on a diaper bag and a large purse. That's it.
MY BEST FRIEND WHO LIVES IN GEORGIA HAS DRIVEN DOWN TO NJ LIKE 5 TIMES BY HERSELF WITH HER 2 KIDS AND 1 BABY AND SHE SAYS SHE LEAVES EARLY MORNING AND IT TAKES HER ABOUT 14 HRS BUT SHES USED TO IT. IDK HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE ME WITH A BABY. I WILL DEF BRING HIS TOYS AND DVD PLAYER WITH CDS. HOPEFULLY HE SLEEPS DURING THE CAR RIDE. YEA AIRPORTS SUX NOW LOL..

Id drive. Yes you have to stop to change them, feed, and stretch. But its not that bad. Usually they fall asleep. And if your mom is with you take turns driving. Bring some toys and books for the ride. You won't have the hassel of air port security and can take what you want. As they get older rules for their plane stuff gets more strict.
I would still take the plane becuase gas is very expensive. either way could you tell me some stuff about puerto rico? me and hubby wanna go so bad. his grandfather is puerto rican.
